Robert DeFressine, 85, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. 

He was born in Ocean City to the late Arthur DeFressine and Florence Ludlam.
He was born on the original Riddle Farm and raised in Ocean City. Robert was a lifelong member of the Ocean City Fire Department. He was an original member of the Ocean City Beach Patrol. Robert loved fishing, gardening, antiquing and football. 
He is survived by his wife, Joan DeFressine; daughter, Debbie DeFressine and her husband, John Swartz; daughter, Linda Hazard and her husband, Mike; son-in-law, Steve Brophy; and grandchildren, Brittany Lord and Spencer Hazard. 
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda's twin, Lisa Brophy.
