Crews drilled at the old Phillips Beach Plaza. Topics for the cadets included building construction, hotel search techniques, and ventilation/flow path discussions. Topics for the firefighters included hotel search techniques, utilizing windows for rescue, and then were challenged with a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) scenario utilizing the Universal Air Connection (UAC). Aerial driver/operators honed their skills by participating in drills to rescue firefighters and civilians from upper-floor windows.
