Chief Larmore attended the City Council Meeting on July 31, 2018 and introduced three of the nine participants in the
Volunteer Division Live-in Program. These 3 firefighters came from Eastern Kentucky University for the 2018 season and,
between the three of them, have donated over 1,200 hours to the Town of Ocean City.
Cole Zink joined the Ocean City Fire Department as an Associate Member in April of 2018. He is
currently working towards his Bachelor's Degree in Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation at Eastern
Kentucky University. Cole has been a volunteer firefighter for 5 years in his home state of New Jersey.
Jack Turner joined the Ocean City Fire Department as an Associate Member in April of 2018. He is
currently working on his Bachelor's in Fire Protection and Administration at Eastern Kentucky University.
Jack also volunteers as a firefighter at Kirksville Fire Department in KY.
Firuz Etemad joined the Ocean City Fire Department in April of 2018 as an Associate Member. He is
currently working on his Bachelor's Degree in Fire, Arson, and Explosions Investigations at Eastern
Kentucky University, where he is the Public Relations Officer for AFST. He is also a volunteer firefighter
at Jacksonville Fire Department in Baltimore County, MD and a Lieutenant at Kirksville Fire Department
