At approximately 12:45 PM the Ocean City Fire Department assisted the US Coast Guard Station Ocean City and the Maryland Natural Rescources Police with a reported overturned sailing vessel with two persons in distress. Fire Boat 1 responded and met with US Coast Guard on scene in the St. Martins River north of the Route 90 bridge. Fire Boat 1 transported two victims to the Ocean Pines Marina where they met the Ocean Pines Fire Department for patient evaluation. Both victims refused treatment. The US Coast Guard is handling the investigation.
