OCVFC Observes 10th Anniversary of 9-11 - Firefighters Memorial - Ocean City, MD

Friday, October 30, 2015
The Ocean City Volunteer Fire Company held a community observation of the Tenth Anniversary of the Terrorist Attacks of 9/11/2001. It was held at the Firefighters Memorial on the Boardwalk and North Division Street at 9:59 AM Sunday morning. That is the time of the collapse of the South Tower and the subsequent death of the first firefighter, Father Mychal Judge, the Chaplain of the FDNY. After comments and reflection, a procession of fire apparatus led participants to Firehouse #5 on Keyser Point Road in West Ocean City for a dedocation.
