Thursday 9 Sep 2010 - 08:06 hours - The Ocean City Fire Department was alerted for a vehicle fire at Ocean Gateway and Old Bridge Road. Firefighter #1 (Cropper) went on location and reported fire in the engine compartment of a Eastern Shore Distributing tractor trailer beer truck. First arriving engine (E1) with firefighter Drew Melson and Lieutenant Jason Hearne led out with a 1.75" bumper line and made a quick knock. Second arriving engine (E12) was tasked with additional water supply if needed. E2 also responed.
