On 3 September 2010 at 1449 hours, the OCFD was dispatched to the Sea Village Condominium at 3519 Atlantic Ave. for a reported building fire. Chief Duke arrived on location, established command, and had the first arriving engine lay in from the hydrant. The incoming aerial ladder was positioned at 36th Street. Interior crews found a light smoke condition coming from the air conditioning unit. Crews secured the power to the unit, ventilated the structure, and turned the scene over to the property owner.
