Blizzard of 2010 Makes For An Interesting Day - At the Beach

Friday, October 30, 2015
High winds, heavy snow, make for an interesting day at the beach. Additional Fire & EMS crews were added to Fire Headquarters & Fire Station 4. Here are a few safety reminders for you and your family. The Ocean City Fire Department is reaching out to citizens with general snow storm safety tips. As weather forecasters are predicting large amounts of snow fall, there are several things that you should do to keep your family safe. If you are shoveling, remember, this is very strenuous work; take your time, take breaks, and let someone know where you are and have them check on you frequently in case you happen to fall. Keep your 911 address clear of snow so emergency responders can locate your residence should you need our assistance. Ensure your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly. *If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly at 410.289.4346.
