The Ocean City VFC was alerted for a reported structure fire at the intersection of Caroline Street and Philadelphia Avenue shortly before 10:00 pm. First arriving units went on location with a two story single family home with fire showing from the south east corner. The fire originated from a motor vehicle collision into the home where the driver struck the gas meter on the corner of the building and ignited the LP gas. The fire extended up and into the home resulting in a multi-alarm response. Units from Berlin and Ocean City were on the scene with Ocean Pines and Bethany Beach units filling the empty stations. Lt.
