Tim Comley

Milton Harding "Tim" Comley, Jr. (86), born in Arlington, VA, passed away on March 24, 2015 in Tampa, FL. He was a WWII veteran and served in Japan as a proud member of the USAF 339th Fighter Squadron. He worked for the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co., now Verizon, for 38 years.

Tim was a lifetime member of the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Co. He was also a member of the Atlantic United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 1066, VFW Post 8296, Elks Lodge 2645, Evergreen Lodge #153, Telephone Pioneers, and was a charter member of the Delmarva Irish Club. Tim was an avid golfer, a talented gardener, and most of all a devoted family man.

He is survived by Sara, his wife of 47 years, sister, Marie Anne Williams (Dave) of Arlington, VA, son, Jeff (Rachel) of Pittsville, MD, daughter, Shelley Sharp Young (Greg) of Tampa, FL, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father and mother, Milton H. Comley, Sr. and Marie Dauphin Comley, of Arlington, VA.
