Lynn Engh

Lynn Michael Engh of Roxana and a former longtime resident of Ocean City, died peacefully at his home Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, surrounded by the love of his family. 

Engh, a retired U.S. Postal Service worker, was well known in the area as a musician, playing piano in several local music groups, including the Lynn Engh Trio and the Red Notes. Mr. Engh also owned and operated several businesses in Ocean City dating back to the 1950s, including Beach Boy Beach Stands and the Shamrock and Englander Apartments on 17th Street. Mr. Engh was a life member of both the Roxana and Ocean City volunteer fire companies. 

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn Anderson Engh and Rose Alma Harrigan Engh; a brother, Denis Engh; and a daughter, Dobby Engh. 

He is survived and missed by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Wilson Engh; and five children, Michael Engh of Frankford, Cheri Engh Porcelli of Frankford, Tracy Engh Meredith of Annapolis, Andy Engh of Dagsboro and Joe Engh of Ocean City. In addition, he is survived and missed by 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.; two brothers, Fred Engh of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Rohn Engh of Star Prairie, Wis.; and two sisters, Dona Yates of Salisbury and Mary Joel Davis of Ocean City.
