Residential Structure Fire
Posted: May 21, 2009 Ocean City Fire Dpeartment units were dispatched to 10 St. Louis Avenue for a reported structure fire at 9:09 am on May 19, 2009. Upon arrival crews observed fire and smoke coming from teh rear of the structure. A crew from Engine 3 deployed a hand line and extinguished the fire. The fire was contained to the porch. The Fire Marshal's Division is investigating the cause of the fire. Anyone with any additional information is asked to contact the Fire Marshal's office at 410-289-8780. Chief Cropper (Chief 50) had command. Captain Bunting (C-56) had operations. Units on scene: Chief 50, Chief 51, Chief 52, Chief 41, Captain 47, PIO 2, Engine 1, Engine 3, Engine 16, Tower 5, Rescue 7, Paramedic 1-1, Paramedic 2, FM 85, FM 86, FM 89.
